When can I book a room for end of January/ early Feb of 2025? Right now the calendar only goes to the end of 2024. Thanks!

    Hi Kelly!

I see that you are a planner like me. I am already looking to visit Walt Disney World in January of next year and am also anxiously awaiting the opening of 2025 bookings.

Currently, Disney Resort Hotels are only open for booking through the end of 2024. Historically the ability to book for the upcoming year will open up at the beginning of the summer. It has been the very end of May or early June in the last couple of years. It will likely be the same this year. I like to keep my eyes peeled on The Official Disney Parks Blog for upcoming announcements because they will be the first the know when an opening day is announced! If you plan to book your resort stay on opening day bring your patience because sometimes the website and phone lines can get a little overloaded with other guests who are eager to plan their vacation.

Once reservations open, I head straight to check out what is available at the monorail loop hotels. These resorts include the Contemporary Resort, the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, and the Polynesian Resort. In my opinion, the convenience of these resorts paired with the fantastic dining options sets them apart. Once reservations open up if you have more questions or are looking for advice on what resort to choose, feel free to ask me directly! I have stayed at almost every Disney resort and love them all for different reasons.

    Happy Planning
