How do I book a room only with no park tickets

Hey howdy hey, Crystal! Welcome to planDisney! I love the planning process for a visit to Walt Disney World! Choosing your hotel really sets the stage for all the fun and adventure that is waiting for you!

Whether you are planning a resort-only stay or thinking about tickets to add later, it is so easy to get things started, book your room, and kick off that magical countdown! I am happy to walk you through it!

First, head over to the Walt Disney World website and navigate to the “Places to Stay” tab at the top. When you hover over it, you will see all the different options for choosing your perfect Disney home away from home. I like to click on “View All Disney Accommodations” so I can see availability across all the Disney Resort Collection hotels. Enter your travel dates and click “Find Resorts,” then take a look at the options that pop up for your stay.

If you are having a hard time deciding, you are not alone! With so many to choose from, I recommend checking out planDisney and Disney Parks Resort Guide videos on YouTube for helpful walk-throughs and a peek at everything each resort has to offer. You can also visit the planDisney website, head to Panel Extras, and browse the Resort Pocket Guides for even more helpful details and extra pixie-dusted inspiration!

Once you have found the perfect resort for your family, select your room and add it to your cart. That is where you will be able to remove the tickets that are often added automatically. At the top of the page, look for the section labeled “Number of Days,” choose “No Tickets,” and then follow the prompts to check out and officially start your countdown to the magic!

My husband and I have enjoyed a few resort-only stays, and they were so relaxing and wonderful! There is so much to do at a Disney Resort Hotel that it still feels like a complete vacation filled with fun and Disney magic. And the best part is you can always add theme park tickets later if you decide you would like to spend some time in the parks!

Crystal, I hope this helps you feel ready and excited for your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Come back anytime with more questions. We are always here and happy to help sprinkle some pixie dust on your planning!

Wishing you so many magical memories!
