If I were to book my park tickets and hotel stay at All Star Movies with a 3rd party, once I link my trip to my Disney app- would I be able to add a Dining plan?

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome to planDisney! It’s exciting that you’re planning your stay at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. Staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel adds so much convenience to your trip, including early theme park entry, complimentary transportation, and staying close to all the magic. If you ever find yourself eyeing a Deluxe Resort in the future, extended evening theme park hours are a fantastic perk for those Guests. I know you’re going to love every moment of your visit!

Regarding your question about the Disney Dining Plan, unfortunately, dining plans can only be added to vacation packages that include room and tickets booked directly through Disney. If you decide to switch to booking through Disney, I highly recommend reading the planDisney responses from my panelist friend Jenn S. She is our resident expert on all things Disney Dining Plans and has some incredible advice to help you make the most of it.

But Hakuna Matata (it means “No Worries”)! I’ve been to the Walt Disney World Resort more times than I can count, and believe it or not, I’ve never used the Disney Dining Plan. I’d be happy to share some of my go-to dining tips! From must-grab reservations and iconic snacks to dining and sipping your way around EPCOT’s World Showcase, I’m here to help. If you’d like recommendations for dining at specific parks, Disney Resorts, or Disney Springs, feel free to ask another question. I’ll gladly share my dining knowledge. Before I let you go, let me offer two recommendations:

    1. Resort Refillable Mug: This mug is perfect for unlimited soda, coffee, and tea at any Disney Resorts Collection hotel throughout your stay (up to 14 days).
    2. Refillable Popcorn Bucket: Nothing beats the smell of fresh popcorn as you enter the parks. These collectible buckets are fun, and the refills are affordable and delicious. They make great souvenirs for your Disney movie nights at home!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney, Ashley! I hope to hear from you and see you real soon.

    Cheers,
    Brent
