When can I book for fort wilderness for March of ‘26? Full hookup site

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Denise!

Welcome to planDisney! We are SO excited you stopped by and can’t wait to help you plan your absolutely AMAZING Disney World adventure! From your question, it’s clear you’re a planning pro, which means you’re in great company around here! As you already know, a little preparation now means way more MAGIC and less stress when arriving at the "Most Magical Place on Earth!"

This is a very popular question, as so many people are ready to book their 2026 Disney vacation. I know this because I am one of those people! I just checked in with a super helpful Cast Member, and he said that Mickey and Minnie are keeping the exact date for the 2026 booking calendar under wraps for now. But, if history repeats itself, we can likely expect it to open sometime in spring 2025. My recommendation is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog—it’s the ultimate source for breaking Disney news, and you definitely don’t want to miss any surprises Mickey and his pals have in store!

I have to say that my absolute favorite resort at Disney World is Fort Wilderness! This resort is like stepping into a hidden world of adventure, where the enchantment of Disney meets the great outdoors. You can roast marshmallows at Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long, ride horseback through lush trails (This is SO fun!), or just take a walk and enjoy the beauty of nature. It's also so nice to come back to peace and serenity after a crazy and fun-filled day at a Disney Theme Park.

March is an excellent time to visit Disney World! The parks tend to be less busy since spring break is still a week or two away. That means shorter lines, more time for fun, and a more laid-back vibe. Plus, the weather is pretty dreamy, usually in the mid-70s—perfect for park hopping without the summer heat!

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. We are here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
