Hi Richard,
Welcome to planDisney! We're so happy you stopped by with a question about planning one of the top priorities for your Walt Disney World vacation: your resort.
I'm sorry you haven't had any luck finding a room at the Yacht Club Resort. I looked as well, and it's not showing me any availability on those dates for either the Yacht Club or Beach Club resorts. The Yacht and Beach Club resorts are home to one of Walt Disney World's convention centers. Convention schedules aren't available to the general public, but my best guess is that there might be a conference that week that has booked a large block of rooms.
Also, Walt Disney World expects thousands of guests for the
Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend October 22-25, 2026.
So it seems likely these prime resorts are simply fully booked.
If you can't find the availability you want online, you might try
contacting Walt Disney World reservations directly to see if they can help.
Yacht Club is one of my favorite resorts for its adult atmosphere and proximity to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. If it isn't available, though, don't be discouraged. There are several other awesome choices in that area.
One of my top spots is the
Riviera Resort. The ambiance is gorgeous, and dining there is amazing, including what I think is the best pool bar on Walt Disney World property, Bar Riva. The resort has a stop right on the Skyliner for easy access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
The Boardwalk Inn also is a long-time favorite, just across the water from the Yacht Club. And the
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is the newest addition to the Swan and Dolphin family.
Or you might consider a split stay, dividing your time between two of the amazing hotels in the
Disney Resorts Collection.
Good luck finding just the right resort or resorts for your travel dates, Richard. Wherever you choose, I'm wishing you the most magical vacation ever.
Enjoy,
Wilma
