I want to book a Disney land vacation for January of 2025. When can I do that?

    Hiya Jennifer!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with your question. I love visiting the Parks just after the New Year starts. There's a magical freshness and eagerness in the air as the Resort prepares for the coming year and crowd levels generally aren't as congested as everyone returns from their Holiday plans.

Historically, reservations for Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages for the next calendar year have been released around late summer. Last year, Vacation Packages and Hotel reservations opened on August 24, 2023, so I would anticipate hearing something from the Disney Parks Blog around that time or perhaps even earlier. Don't worry because I'm sure that you'll have plenty of time to iron out the details of your vacation once reservations open.

Where will you be staying for your trip? My favorite Hotel is the always classic Disneyland Hotel. It brings back such a sense of nostalgia from my younger days. I love how they've managed to retain its original charm but have added modern touches to keep things current. Once you make your bookings, don't forget that dining reservations may be made 60 days in advance, so start thinking about where you'd like to eat. If you see an opening at Lamplight Lounge, I'd recommend taking it!

Jennifer, I hope this was helpful for you and please feel free to contact us again if you have more questions. We'd love to be of any help in your planning and you're always welcome at planDisney!

Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!

Meet the Panelist: Al, California

Ahoy there from the heart of Steinbeck Country in central California! I've been visiting the Disneyland Resort since childhood and fell in love with the sense of absolute immersion that the Imagineers have achieved. My favorite attraction is Pirates of the Caribbean because where else can you go from a California day to an evening boat ride in the bayou with "salty old pirates"? I'm a veterinarian and an all-around Disney geek and enthusiast. I'd love to help you plan your next Disneyland trip! Learn More About Al
