Hi Ana,
Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. I am happy to help you consider how to book your magical
Walt Disney World vacation!
The short answer to your question is that yes, you can first book a
Walt Disney World Resort Hotel stay, and then later book your
Disney theme park tickets. When you book each, you would simply be sure that each is connected to your
My Disney Experience account and you will be good to go! In fact, my family has often been known to do this. We book a resort hotel stay first, and then later, we add on our theme park tickets.
I do suggest that you check the
Special Offers, Deals, & Discounts page before you book any part of your Walt Disney World vacation. On this page, you may find deals and discounts for Disney resort hotels, theme park tickets, and packages. It is a good idea to see if any of these special offers work for your planned vacation dates and make sense for your traveling party. You can also find offers for specific groups, such as Disney+ subscribers, on this page. Do be sure to check it out!
Ana, I hope that this information is helpful for you. Please feel free to come back to planDisney with any further questions you may have while you are planning your magical vacation!
