    Is the Big Blue Pool heated?

    HellooOOOOooooo Kim!

    That's whale for "Hello and welcome to planDisney Kim!" Many people don't know that I'm bilingual. Whale speak is so useful if I get lost while floating in the ocean. (This will never happen as floating in the ocean is terrifying) I'm so glad to see you here and excited to see that you are days away from your magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort! 

    While floating in the Big Blue Pool at Disney's Art of Animation Resort it will feel like you are in the ocean as it is the largest Resort pool on property! One of the best features of not just this pool but all Resort pools on Walt Disney World property is that they are all heated to approximately 82°F. It almost recreates the temperatures of the balmy Caribbean Sea. While the water is warm, Walt Disney World Resort does not control the weather. (I don't know what you've heard but Walt Disney World really can't control the weather) So, I suggest after years of cool weather swimming always be ready with a towel nearby for the moment you get out of the delicious warmth and are hit with a chill breeze. Thankfully, towels are complimentary and plentifully found when poolside at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.

    While spending time here next week I hope you get a chance to dip your toes in the festivities at the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!  Santa will be there to hear what you want for Christmas this year! When he laughs his belly jiggles like a bowl full of jelly and will be such a site to see! Make sure to ask him if he speaks whale!
