Hi Trey,
How cool going to Disney for your first vacation!
First, you need to pick a when. I love October and April for the weather and lower crowds. EPCOT has
two special events International Food and Wine Festival (Oct.) and International Flower and Garden Festival (Apr.).
Next, a place to stay. Without a budget, here are some of my favorite resorts to stay at:
All Star Music Family Suite,
Port Orleans Riverside,
Yacht and
Beach Club or
Polynesian. Except for the All Star Music Family Suite, all the other standard rooms will sleep four but with two queen beds. You could roll in a bed or book two adjacent rooms. You could also look at Deluxe Villas for a one or two bedroom suite.
For tickets, you go with the Magic Your Way with Park Hopper option. This will allow you to go to two parks in one day. EPCOT is a good two days. Magic Kingdom is just fun anytime of the day. Disney's Hollywood Studios has great shows during the day and than Fantasmic! at night. Plus fireworks are every night at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
You also have great shopping and restaurants at Downtown Disney. Depending on your ticket, you may have options for the water parks which are very cool. Your parents will love them.
Finally, look for deals to get free dining, rooms or tickets. Sign up for deals at Disney and order the planning video.
I hope this starts your magical vacation!
Beth
