Chef Mickey's sounds like the perfect way to start any day of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! This
character dining location has always been popular with our family for its upbeat atmosphere, yummy food, and, of course, those fabulous character interactions. I'm sure you're looking forward to your upcoming visit!
Ruth, Chef Mickey's is located inside
Disney's Contemporary Resort, which is adjacent to
Magic Kingdom Park and near the Transportation and Ticket Center. If you're driving to your dining reservation, you can access
complimentary parking at the Contemporary during your breakfast simply by showing your confirmed dining reservation at security when you arrive at the resort hotel. Since parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center typically opens about an hour before
Early Theme Park Entry at Magic Kingdom, parking at the Contemporary is probably your best bet for an early dining reservation. After breakfast, you would need to move your car to the Transportation and Ticket Center if you're planning to visit Magic Kingdom, but the two locations are very close, so this shouldn't delay your plans too much while also giving you the peace of mind that you'll be on time for your meal!

While we're "dishing" about dining, Ruth, I hope you have the chance during your stay at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to take the
Sassagoula River Cruise and visit
Disney Springs. One of my favorite places to grab dinner here is
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'. I can't seem to resist the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits and Church Lady Deviled Eggs - they are both so delicious!
