A travel agent can be a great resource when planning your vacation, Megan. If you choose to use one, I recommend confirming that they are an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Agents and agencies that carry that designation have been "EarMarked" and recognized by Disney for their knowledge and level of service. A quick online search will bring up many options you can review to find an agent who may be a good fit for you and your vacation!
Whether you choose to use a travel agent or not, there are plenty of resources available through Disney Parks that can help you learn to navigate the parks and plan your vacation - including some right here at planDisney! One of the biggest changes that will likely impact your plans is the introduction of
Lightning Lane passes, which happened in 2024. My panelist pals

JoAnna share more about how they work and what you need to know about purchasing passes before you visit with a helpful tutorial over in our
planDisney Video Library. While there are several passes to choose from, I personally like to use a combination of Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Passes to make the most of our time in the parks.
As you or your travel agent start making reservations, you can view and manage them by clicking "
My Plans" in the top right corner of the Walt Disney World website. You can also create profiles for or connect with others on your
Family and Friends List to share plans both before and during your visit.
