Welcome to planDisney, Melissa! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. You've got a couple of great options to get from
Caribbean Beach to
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at
Fort Wilderness, and both of them are going to get you right up to Pioneer Hall for dinner and a show!
The most convenient, and honestly my favorite, way is to order a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app. Minnie Vans are Disney-operated rides, so they can pick you up right outside your building at Caribbean Beach, no need to walk to the main lobby, and drop you off right near Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness. This is a big deal because that drop-off spot is exclusive to Minnie Vans. All other rideshare services can only drop guests off at the front of Fort Wilderness. If you arrive at the front, you'd then have to hop on an internal bus to get back to Pioneer Hall, which adds a bit of extra time. With a Minnie Van, you're right where you need to be as soon as you arrive!
If you'd prefer a complimentary option, you can absolutely get there using
Disney's transportation system. From Caribbean Beach, hop on a bus to
Magic Kingdom. Once you arrive, look for the boat launch area right outside the park entrance. From there, board the boat headed to Fort Wilderness. This is a really lovely ride, about 10-15 minutes, and it drops you off at the Fort Wilderness marina. It might stop at
Wilderness Lodge first, but just stay seated and wait for the next stop! The best part? The marina is just steps from Pioneer Hall. You'll have a short scenic walk, and then you'll be ready to enjoy the show.
Timing-wise, I'd recommend allowing around 90 minutes if you're taking the bus-and-boat route, just to give yourself a comfortable cushion in case you have to wait for the next vehicle. If you're using a Minnie Van, you can plan on closer to 25 to 30 minutes of travel time.
So whether you go with the ease and direct drop-off of a Minnie Van, or enjoy the scenic (and complimentary!) boat ride from Magic Kingdom, you'll have a smooth trip to Hoop-Dee-Doo and be ready for cornbread, fried chicken, and plenty of laughs when you arrive.
Have a magical day, Melissa!
