Hi Wanda! My family has celebrated several birthdays (for adults and kids) at Magic Kingdom Park! Some have been character dining experiences, while others have been at other fun Disney Dining locations!
There are two character dining experiences at Magic Kingdom Park. The first is
The Crystal Palace! Here, Pooh and his pals from the Hundred-Acre Wood visit Guests during a breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet! The other character dining experience is
Cinderella’s Royal Table! This unforgettable restaurant is located inside Cinderella Castle! Members of Disney royalty, including Disney princesses, will greet you during a delicious meal at breakfast, lunch, or dinner!
While not officially a character dining experience, my family’s favorite Disney Dining location at Magic Kingdom Park is
Be Our Guest Restaurant! Guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner at Beast’s Castle where the master of the castle himself makes the rounds. Guests cannot pose side-by-side with the Beast, but he will pause long enough at locations throughout the castle that will allow you the opportunity to take a selfie with Beast in the background. When dining at this location, we enjoy either the ballroom or the West Wing. If dining in the West Wing, be sure to visit the enchanted rose! Also keep an eye on the portrait of the prince on the wall, especially as the thunder of the approaching storm gets more intense!
Wanda, another perfect character dining location for a three-year-old’s birthday (not quite inside Magic Kingdom Park, but close) is Chef Mickey’s! This restaurant is located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort which is just a Monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom Park!
All the dining locations that I’ve shared in this answer accept reservations. While not required, reservations are strongly encouraged! Character dining experiences are extremely popular! Be sure to let your server know that you are celebrating a very special birthday! The Cast Members always go out of their way to make the experience a bit more magical! Please note that character appearances are subject to change. Happy birthday to that little Mouseketeer in your family!
Happy Planning!
