Hi, we are celebrating our daughter's 2nd birthday in Nov. we are visiting theme parks on 28 and 29 and staying at AOA from 27-30. Apart from MK what's the best park. what activities would you suggest for her on 27, 28 and 30

Welcome to planDisney Prat, thanks for visiting us at planDisney.

Birthday Celebrations are such memorable visits to the Walt Disney Resort. Your princess is going to have a great time no matter where you take her. But I do have a couple of recommendations to make her trip extra special.

Magic Kingdom Park is quintessential Disney and seeing Cinderella Castle at the end of Main Street U.S.A. is something that lets me know vacation has officially started. If you have an opportunity to visit other parks with your Mouseketeer Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is just the place for little ones. The many self-guided tours allow your toddler to like the Maharajah Jungle Trek where you can see tigers, a flying fox, a Komodo dragon, and dozens of birds from the Southeast region of Asia. One attraction that you shouldn’t miss is the Affection Section at Rafiki’s Planet Watch. This area is only accessible via train and takes you to an area where you can meet some domesticated furry friends to interact with along with animal care experts. Don’t wait too long as the last train for this area is at 4:30 p.m. If Animal Kingdom wasn’t on your list of places to visit the new attraction at EPCOT was built with kids in mind. Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is an interactive journey showing the journey water takes in our ecosystem. This is also a self-guided tour you can choose the “may get wet” path or the dry path. Both will give you the same experience minus the potential soggy shirt. Journey of Water opens on October 16, 2023.

Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is a super convenient location to stay to travel to EPCOT aboard the Disney Skyliner. This aerial gondola system delivers you right to the International Gateway near the France Pavilion. While you have some downtime outside of the parks your resort has an amazing pool. The Big Blue Pool is themed after “Finding Nemo” and is always a big hit with resort guests. My last tip since your daughter is just starting her adventures is to carefully select a special location where you can return each visit to take the same picture over the years. It will show you growth year after year, and those memories stay with you both for a lifetime.

I hope this is the information you were looking for to make your visit a special one. If you need any other tips stop by planDisney.com and we will be happy to help.

    Have a magical stay,

    Jeremy A.
