Hiya, Jenna! Welcome to planDisney. We're happy you're here!
It sounds like you're ready to celebrate something really special at
Walt Disney World Resort and I couldn't be more thrilled for you! Jenna, I was able to reach out to a Cast Member and I have good news for you. You're welcome to bring in a cake at a restaurant for which you have an advance dining reservation! However, when it comes to dropping it off earlier in the day, I was told that it would be that dining location's decision. With that being said, you may want to
call a Cast Member when it gets a little closer to your trip to see if they have any advice or direction for you and that specific restaurant!
If you're looking for my personal advice, the logistics of bringing a cake into Magic Kingdom Park may be tricky – but not impossible! You'll need to navigate bringing your cake to the park, such as by tram, bus, or monorail. Then, you'll have to head through security with your cake. Depending on the weather, I'm sure you'll want to be careful that it doesn't slide or melt! With these factors to consider, you may want to dream up an alternate option, too. When making your
advance dining reservation, you may want to include adding a
Specialty Cake to your reservation! The cakes are adorable and give a special little nod to our favorite mouse. You can even select your flavors and engraving! This way, you can enjoy your park day without missing a minute of the magic.
I hope I was able to point you in the right direction today, Jenna! If you have any other questions, please write to us again. We're always happy to help!
You've got a friend in me,
Michelle
