Best place to stay that has close access to Magic Kingdom,Epcot and Hollywood Studios?

    Hi there, Tiffani!

Welcome to planDisney! The holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort is the merriest time of the year, and the Disney Resort hotels go all out in celebration! During the holiday season, you can expect to see the lobbies of the resorts decked out in decor, and a beautiful Christmas tree decorated to match the resort's theming. EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios are connected via the Disney Skyliner, and along the Skyliner are several Disney Resorts available. These include:

Along with these resorts, you also have the BoardWalk area resorts, which include Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Yacht Club, and Beach Club Resorts. They are a 5-10 minute walk to EPCOT, and the Skyliner drop-off is right outside this entrance to EPCOT, making travel to Hollywood Studios a breeze. Out of all these resorts, I recommend  Beach Club Resort. You can't beat that five-minute walk to EPCOT, their holiday decorations are on another level (they feature a gingerbread carousel display in the lobby each year!), and you have access to my favorite pool, Stormalong Bay.

The Magic Kingdom area resorts are connected via the Monorail, and there are two other resorts nearby that you can access Magic Kingdom via a Water Taxi. The Monorail resorts are in the deluxe category, and they include Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The other two resorts are Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds. If you want a cozy, rustic, Christmasy feel during your stay, I recommend Wilderness Lodge. This resort is gorgeous, the lobby feels like a warm hug from the moment you step in, and you can't go wrong with a cozy fireplace and rocking chairs after a long theme park day. I also recommend the Grand Floridian, home to the magnificent Gingerbread House display (did you know it takes 700 lbs of chocolate and 800 lbs of flour to create?!). Most of the deluxe resorts feature a gingerbread display during the holiday season, which is so fun to visit, and would be a perfect activity to complete on a day away from the parks.

Tiffani, thank you for visiting planDisney, and I hope all of this information helps you select the perfect Disney Resort to stay at during the holiday season. Please stop by again if you need additional pixie dust planning your visit!

    Magic Awaits!
