Hey Tyler, welcome to planDisney! It’s awesome to have you here! November is such a fantastic time to visit the parks. The weather is beautiful, and the crowds are just right, allowing you to really soak in the experience at your own pace. You’re going to have a fantastic time, I just know it!
I absolutely love the
new Lightning Lane passes because they give me so much flexibility in planning, especially when I'm with my kids. When you're staying at Disney Resort hotels or select hotels, you can purchase Lightning Lane passes and choose experiences and arrival windows starting seven days before your stay for the length of your stay and up to 14 days. In your case, with a split stay, you can book seven days in advance for your
Disney Resort hotel days and three days in advance for the other days.
I understand you hoped to book experiences for your trip, but don't worry. Even on your off-site days, there will be plenty of time to find fabulous experiences. And here's an extra tip: after using your first Lightning Lane experience of the day, you can book an extra one or make changes to existing bookings. Guests are constantly changing plans, so previously booked attractions might have more availability on the day of your visit.
To avoid spending too much time thinking about this and more time enjoying the parks, I make a point to check for new attraction availability every time I get in line for an attraction and when I’m leaving using the
My Disney Experience app. This way, you can make the most of your visit without constantly checking your phone.
I hope this helps, Tyler! If you have any other questions before, during, or after your trip,
feel free to drop by anytime. It's always a pleasure to help our great Canadian friends like you.
Cheers,
Nilson
