What is the best way to get from Magic Kingdom to Disney Springs after 4pm? Is there a direct bus after this time?

Hey Howdy Hey Beth and welcome to planDisney!

Disney Springs is such a great place to spend an evening. There is so much shopping, dining and entertainment to try and the area is wonderful to stroll by the waterside. While complimentary Resort Transportation is available for all Guests around Walt Disney World, there is a catch when it comes to getting from the parks to Disney Springs. Let's go over your options.

While you will find Resort Transportation available to transport you to Disney Springs, there is unfortunately no direct route from Magic Kingdom to Disney Springs. There are a few resorts within walking distance of the park that you can either walk to or catch the Resort Monorail to take you to Disney's Contemporary Resort and catch a bus from there to get to Disney Springs.

If you do want a quicker route, you can also look into Minnie Vans Connected by Lyft. These Magical vans are the way to go when traveling around the resort. You can pick them up from the area where the buses stop right by the front entrance to Magic Kingdom and they will drop you off at the location convenient to your destination at Disney Springs. While this option will come with a separate fee, this will most likely be your quickest route if you need to make a dining reservation.

One word of caution regarding rideshares at Magic Kingdom: All rideshares, other than Minnie Vans, will both pick up and drop Guests off at the Transportation and Ticket Center which is located in the parking lot of Magic Kingdom. If you wanted to go this route, you would have to take the ferry or monorail to get to the Transportation and Ticket Center. By the time you did this to catch your ride, you might have been better off picking up the bus from the Contemporary as this will be the same amount of stops but at no extra cost.

I hope this information helped plan your transportation options during your Magical holiday. If you have any further questions, please let us know, we are always happy to help!
