What is the best way to get from Aulani Resort to Pearl Harbour (and the most cost effective way) if we don't have a rental car?

Aloha, Paul. Thanks for sailing by planDisney!

We recently returned from the most magical Christmas holiday at Aulani, and I am so excited that you are about to experience the tropical oasis. I also love that you are venturing outside the Resort to see more of the island. Pearl Harbor is an incredibly moving tribute to our military. I suggest you save most of the day to visit, as the complex has multiple sites. I highly recommend taking the boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. Hopefully, you will be able to catch the sailors "manning the rail," which is a stunning salute to their fallen colleagues.

You have a couple of options to get from Aulani to Pearl Harbor:

Public Transport: Known as TheBus (I love that name!), the public bus system is the least expensive way to get from Ko Olina to Pearl Harbor. It will take a hot minute to get there (probably over an hour), and the nearest bus stop is 1 mile from the Resort, so you'll have a walk to and from the station.

Ride Share: Uber and Lyft are likely the easiest option. They are readily available across the island and will take you door to door.

Taxi Service: Charley's Taxi Service is Aulani's recommended provider. They will take you door to door but are a bit more expensive than ride-share.

Private Car/Limousine Service: Aulani recommends Platinum Limousine Services, which has a fleet of cars available wherever you want to go on the island. I've checked their website, and it is very easy to navigate.

I hope this helps. Feel free to float back with any other questions. I wish you a magical vacation!
