Hiya Michael,
Welcome to
planDisney! If there is one topic that spawns debate in my house, it is what to bring with us to the Theme Parks each day. Pre-baby, all we needed was our MagicBands and a wallet; now, between a diaper bag, snacks, strollers, and toys, the times sure have changed. With so many magical miles that we walk each day, the only thing that we can agree on is the less we can carry, the better.
So Michael, let’s discuss
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules on backpacks. According to the property rules, backpacks with or without wheels can not exceed the dimensions of 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high. Most standard backpacks fit these criteria, but I recommend measuring yours before you pack it to make sure.
Before I let you go, Michael, don’t forget that there are
locker rentals at each of the Theme Parks. They are an excellent resource if you don’t want to carry your backpack throughout the Theme Parks. Just drop your bag in the locker and go back throughout the day as you need items from the bag! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
