Hiya Bradley,
Welcome to
planDisney! We are honored to be part of your planning journey as you prepare for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. One of my favorite parts of having a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package is that I can take care of my vacation balance before I arrive. It just frees me up to enjoy my vacation even more.
As I mentioned, Bradley, if you have a
Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package (a type of reservation that combines a room at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel and Theme Park tickets), you can pay your remaining balance before your vacation. To do so, log in to your
My Disney Experience account. Under “My Plans,” scroll until you see your resort hotel details. If you have a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, you should also see a blue button labeled “Make Payment.” Click the button and follow the on-screen prompts to pay your remaining balance (the final balance is due 30 days before your arrival). If you did not see the blue button, double-check that you do not have a room-only reservation. There are two ways to find out if you have a room-only reservation. First, think back to when you purchased your Theme Park tickets; if you paid for that transaction in full, separate from your resort hotel, then you had a room-only reservation. The second way to find out is to go to your original resort hotel email confirmation and scroll until the section after “Contact Us.” If you see the words “Room Only Terms and Conditions,” you have a room-only reservation! You cannot make payments in advance if you have a room-only reservation. Your remaining balance will be due when you check in at the resort.
I hope that was helpful, Bradley. Please come back and see us if there is anything else we can help you with!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
