My 3 YO is autistic and we got a DAS. My doubt is, if we enter the ride and for any reason he doesn’t wanna go in the ride, wich happens a lot per his condition that triggers somme behaviors of fear. The whole party has to leave the ride?

Welcome to planDisney, Rafaela! It's wonderful to have another Brazilian here planning a magical adventure to The Most Magical Place on Earth! I'm excited to hear all about the special memories you'll create. I understand the importance of making sure your whole family has a great time, so I'm here to help you out today.

As you certainly know, the Disability Access Service (DAS) is available to support Guests who, due to a developmental disability such as autism, are unable to wait in a regular queue for long periods of time. According to Disney, any member of your DAS-eligible Guest group can obtain a return time, but the Guest registered for DAS must be present and experience the attraction with their group.

In my experience, it's always a good idea to speak with a nearby Cast Member in these situations. They will do their best to accommodate any requests and handle any situation in real time, ensuring that your child is the priority and is safe at all times. You know your child best, so if you think this might occur, be sure to mention it to a Cast Member even before joining the queue.

I hope this information helps, Rafaela. Please feel free to reach out anytime with any other questions. You can also ask questions in Portuguese if you prefer. We're always here and happy to help our wonderful friends like you.

    Cheers,
    Nilson
