Hi we are 3 adults and 1 teen booked at Caribbean Beach in a preferred room. How can we be sure to get a room with the child pull down bed? Thanks

Hey there, Laura! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so excited to hear about your upcoming trip to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort in April. I'll actually be staying at the same resort in March, so I'm more than happy to help you out today.

Let's chat about room options. The Preferred Rooms at Disney Resort Hotels are in awesome locations, usually near the main pool and transportation options. At Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Preferred Rooms are super close to the Fuentes del Morro Pool and Centertown. Some of these rooms will have a Child-Size Pull-Down Bed, which you can request during check-in on the website or the My Disney Experience app, but keep in mind that these beds are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

To make sure you get the extra bed, you'll want to book a 5th Sleeper room, which can come with 2 Queen Beds and 1 Child-Size Pull-Down Bed or 1 Queen Bed and 1 Queen-Size Pull-Down Bed and 1 Child-Size Pull-Down Bed. You also have two room view options: Standard or Water/Pool View.

One more thing to note is that the Child-Size Pull-Down Beds at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort are 64" long by 30" wide, which is slightly smaller than a standard twin size. Depending on your teenager's size, it may be a bit snug.

I hope this info helps with your planning, Laura! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. We are always here to help our magical friends like you!

    Cheers,
    Nilson
