Aloha Ambrish and
E komo mai (Hawaiian for "welcome") to planDisney! A trip to
Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa this September sounds wonderful! This
Disney Beach Resort offers a variety of entertainment, from cultural walks and storytelling to the serenity of the lazy river and the beautiful sunsets on Ko Olina Lagoon. Now, let’s dive into your question on the
KA WA’A Luau!
Ambrish, I also saw that the website was not showing availability for the dates you’re interested in, so I contacted the Resort. Unfortunately, a Cast Member informed me that the website is accurate and that for some select weeks in September the luau will be closed. I’m sorry that this may not be the answer you wanted to hear. However, the Cast Member did apologize about the closure during your stay and added that they are happy to recommend other luaus nearby based on your preferences. So, I suggest giving the
Holoholo Tours and Travel Desk a call. They can even book other excursions you can do on O’ahu!
While you’re at Aulani, I highly recommend booking the character breakfast at
Makahiki. It’s a great way to see Mickey and friends dressed up in their festive island gear! You’ll also want to download the
Aulani Resort Mobile App and link your reservation. It’s a great resource to view the Resort map, see daily activities, and book any activity reservations for your travel party.
Ambrish,
mahalo for visiting planDisney. While the luau may not be available at the Resort, I am sure you will have a great trip and make some core memories! If you have any further questions about your trip to Aulani or any questions about Disney vacation planning, please feel free to
contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
