Cabanas at both the
Disneyland Hotel and
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa are available as either full-day or half-day rentals. Full-day rentals are currently offered from 9:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. If you'd prefer a shorter visit, you can choose between two half-day time slots: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Reservations can typically be made up to 60 days in advance by calling the Disneyland Hotel or Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa directly.
As for which pool area is the most kid-friendly, I would give the edge to the Disneyland Hotel. Its pool area was designed with families in mind and features the nostalgic Monorail waterslides, a spacious splash play area for younger Guests, and the D-Ticket Pool, which is perfect for swimming and relaxing together. The atmosphere feels especially playful while still offering plenty of comfortable spaces for parents to unwind.
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa also offers a beautiful pool experience, with a quieter, more tranquil atmosphere nestled among towering pine trees. It's a wonderful choice if your family prefers a more relaxing setting, but for families with younger children looking for classic Disney fun, the Disneyland Hotel is hard to beat.
