If I am attending a wedding banquet at the Grand Californian, can I get dropped off and picked up by Uber at the valet area?

Hi Les! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

We recently were Guests at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, and we used rideshare to and from the Long Beach airport. I can report it should be an easy process to get to and from the wedding via rideshare.

When you are dropped off by rideshare at the hotel, they will ask for the name of the Guest at the gated entrance. Since you're not going to be staying at the hotel, I suggest you be ready to share that you're attending a wedding and give the name of the happy couple when asked. The drop-off and pick-up lane is in front of the hotel entrance and marked for rideshare. It's just beyond the lane for valet. There's a bench where you can wait when you're anticipating the arrival of your rideshare vehicle.

I hope you have a magical time at the wedding! I love a wedding, and I can't imagine a more beautiful setting than Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. You'll want to take some pictures in the glorious lobby. Especially if you're in your wedding best. There's usually a pianist entertaining the lobby too, so it's a good spot to sit for a bit.

Best wishes and congratulations to the couple!
