Hiya, Diane! Welcome to planDisney. I am happy to help you with your
Disneyland Resort parking question. Let's get started!
If you are visiting either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park you have three parking options to choose from - Mickey & Friends Parking Structure, Pixar Pals Parking Structure, or Toy Story Parking Area. All of these locations, currently have a daily rate of $35 per car or motorcycle and you can purchase a
parking voucher online in advance - how easy is that? For any oversized vehicles, motor homes, or buses, parking is available at the Toy Story Parking Area only; the cost for these types of vehicles runs between $40-$45 per day, currently. Parking areas open 60 minutes before the earliest theme park opening.
Diane, if you visit the
Downtown Disney District, you can find parking at the Simba Lot, located off Disneyland Drive. The parking rate here is different than in theme park parking locations and currently runs $10 for the first hour of parking, with validation after that hour for certain shopping or dining purchases. If you choose to window shop and do not get parking validation, the rate is $14 an hour charged in half-hour increments. You can read more about the Parking rates at the Disneyland Resort, including the
parking rates for hotel guests on the Disneyland website.
Have you mapped out the best way to get to the
Disneyland Resort for your visit? Check out the
Driving to the Disneyland Resort section on the website to chart the best course! Also, check out the
Car Locator feature in the
Disneyland Mobile App, a handy tool that saves your vehicle location while parked at the resort. Because, as you'll likely experience, there is no tired like Disney tired at the end of a long park day! In the App, click on the magnifying glass at the bottom of the app home screen and, then, type "Car Locator" in the search bar to get started!
I hope this information was helpful, Diane. Please visit us again soon!
