Hello there, Jena! Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us your great question.
Jena, while there isn't a direct entrance from the
Disneyland Hotel into either of the theme parks, there are several entrances besides the Main Gate Entrance that you can easily use as a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Guest!
The first entrance that I'm about to suggest might be my all-time favorite! It is the
Disneyland Monorail entrance that takes you into
Disneyland Park. The Downtown Disney District Monorail Station is a short walk from all three Disneyland Resort Hotels and is next to Star Wars™ Trading Post in the Downtown Disney District. A
valid theme park admission ticket and park reservation are required to use this entrance and once you enter you will be treated with an aerial view of Disney California Adventure's Buena Vista Street and Tomorrowland in Disneyland Park. The Monorail stops inside Tomorrowland right above the
Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. It is a super memorable way to enter Disneyland Park, and one I think you simply must try!
The second entrance that I suggest takes you into the Grizzly Peak area of
Disney California Adventure Park. You will need to walk from the Disneyland Hotel to
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa via the
Downtown Disney District. Enter the Grand Californian Hotel just past The Disney Dress Shop and walk toward the hotel lobby. At the lobby, make a left when you get to the Great Hall and continue past Storytellers Café. You will need to go through Security and scan your park admission ticket (park reservation required) before entering the park. Then you will find yourself right inside Disney California Adventure Park by Grizzly Peak!
As a Disneyland Hotel Guest be sure to use the
Early Entry Benefit, which gives you 30 extra minutes to enjoy the park before the standard opening time each day of your hotel stay. You'll want to check the
theme park calendar for the dates of your visit to see which park is offering Early Entry during your stay.
Jena, I hope this information was helpful. Please visit us again soon!
See you in the parks,
Melissa
