Hi there, Katie! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so excited to hear you'll be attending Oogie Boogie Bash with your daughter this year! As a parent myself, I completely understand wanting to make sure there are safe treat options available so everyone can enjoy the spooky fun.
I'm happy to share that the Treat Trails offer allergy-friendly alternatives. At each Treat Trail, simply let the Cast Member know that your daughter has a peanut allergy, and they'll be happy to offer an alternative treat option.
When my family attended
Oogie Boogie Bash on Halloween night last year, my toddler wasn't too interested in candy, so we opted for some of the alternative treats instead. We were offered items like Mickey Mouse Goldfish Crackers, Craisins, and graham crackers, which were a big hit! We even offered him his first candy, a Skittles Gummy, but he preferred the Mickey Mouse Goldfish Crackers. Since that trip, we've kept our pantry stocked with them at all times. While treat offerings can change from year to year, I loved having those options available.
One tip I always recommend is to remind the Cast Member about your daughter's peanut allergy at each Treat Trail, since treat selections may vary by location throughout the evening. The
Disney Parks Blog is another great resource for all things allergy-friendly. Last year, in mid-August, the blog published an "
Everything You Need to Know" post about the event that included great information about the Treat Trails.
Katie, thank you so much for visiting planDisney! I hope your family has a frightfully fun evening filled with memorable character encounters, villain sightings, and plenty of delicious allergy-friendly treats. If you have any other questions as you count down to Oogie Boogie Bash, planDisney is always happy to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
