Season's screamings, and welcome to planDisney, Angela. A visit to the Disneyland Resort during the spooky season is always a frighteningly fantastic idea.
For the past few years,
Disney Parks Blog has been sharing
Disneyland's calendar of events, which also includes any separately ticketed events that typically take place after hours. For 2026, the only planned and scheduled after-hours event in August and September is indeed the
Oogie Boogie Bash that will take place on several nights throughout both months. While things can always change, in my experience, these are the only after-hours, special events taking place at the resort during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. As we get closer to your visit dates, you can also check the
Hours & Events Calendar for your visit dates to see park hours.
The scheduled party dates won't change, so if you're looking to maximize a full day at both parks with a Park Hopper ticket, I recommend trying to visit on a day that a party is not taking place. If this doesn't work with your plans and a party is happening on the day of your visit, with a Park Hopper ticket, you still have the ability to finish out your day at Disneyland Park to squeeze in as much magic as possible.
There's nothing quite like a visit during Halloween Time. Seeing the giant Mickey pumpkin greet me in Town Square is an unbeatable feeling. Then, turning around to see a winking face as I walk down Main Street toward Sleeping Beauty Castle. Well, that's magic. It's hard to believe, but we're less than two months away from all the spooktacular fun. Keep an eye on
Disney Parks Blog for updates and news on the hauntingly good time that awaits us.
Well, Angela, I hope this has been helpful. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might have as you continue to put plans into place for your upcoming visit. Until then, here's wishing you a wickedly wonderful time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
