A haunting hello to you, See. Thank you for sharing this question and welcome to planDisney. Halloween Time is one of my favorite times to visit the Disneyland Resort and I'm so excited for you to visit during the spooky season.
Congrats on snagging tickets to
Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party. This is one of the reasons I love this time of year at the resort so much. In fact, I just returned from a visit and attended the bash - it was a ghoulishly good time. Not only do I love dressing up, but I love seeing everyone else's fantastic costumes. Your Hei Hei costume sounds like it's going to be amazing. The final decision on costumes ultimately rests with security. I looked at the
Costume Guidelines and did not notice anything about feathers not being allowed. I encourage you to review the guidelines to make sure the rest of your costume is okay for the party.
There's so much to do during this special event, you might not be able to do everything. I highly recommend prioritizing what's important to you - for us, this was making sure we hit all of the
treat trails with villains. I absolutely loved the new addition of Judge Doom to the lineup of villains and recommend visiting him near Soarin' Around the World. As Hei Hei, just be careful of any spilled Dip.
You will be given a bag when you check in for the party, but we took our own larger bags to collect all of our treats. You can enter Disney California Adventure Park as early as 3:00 p.m., however, the bash won't officially start until 6:00 p.m. And don't forget to take some time to snap a picture or two of your spooktacular costume.
Disney PhotoPass digital photo downloads from the party are included in your event ticket. "Radiator Screams" is one of my favorite photo spots.
Well, I hope this has been helpful, See. It won't be long until you will be getting your Oogie Boogie on. I'm excited for you and hope you have a frightfully fun time. Happy haunting!
