Hello, We are attending MVMCP. We have a dining reservation at 410pm. While the park opens for the party at 4pm, will we be allowed in a few minutes earlier to make our reservation on time without a day ticket? Thanks, Shellie

Hey there, Michele and Shellie, and welcome back to planDisney. I know Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five are excited to see you in less than two weeks. You are visiting during an enchanted time of year as the Disney Resort Hotel Gingerbread Houses are being assembled as we speak. Be sure to stop by Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see this seasonal attraction.

Guests with a Special Event Ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party are allowed inside Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00 PM but the party does not officially begin until 7:00 PM. Depending on the Cast Member you may be allowed in earlier but even if you had to wait until exactly 4:00 PM to enter, 10 minutes is plenty of time to walk to your dining location.

planDisney Pro Tip: Did you know that you are able to mobile check-in for select Table Service reservations on the My Disney Experience app about 20 minutes prior to your reservation? You will be assigned a check-in window time viewable on the app and can "virtually" get in line to be seated. Once the restaurant is ready to seat you, you will receive a push notification.

Michele and Shellie, have an enchanted time during this holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort. Please feel free to write me back with any follow-up questions.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
