Mickey and Minnie Halloween Costume; Magic Kingdom; Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

    Hello, we are attending MNSSHP on October 24, and have Magic Kingdom park reservations for the day. Do we need to leave the park and re-enter in order to receive our party bands?

    Hi Susan and welcome back to planDisney!

    How exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up so soon!  Fall at the theme parks is a great time to visit, especially if you love Halloween.  The Mickey pumpkins that line Main Street U.S.A. always put a smile on my face.

    Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World.  How fun is it to trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom Park?  I'm looking forward to my own visit this month!  I love all of the spooky treats and merchandise available during the party as well.  I can't wait to get my hands on a Not-So-Poison Apple Churro and a Black Velvet Whoopie Pie.  Guests who enter the park before the official party start time can pick up their wristband at several wristband distribution locations throughout the park.  There is no need to exit and re-enter through the front.  You can find them in Fantasyland, Adventureland or Tomorrowland and they start distributing around 4:00 PM. 

    If you are visiting Magic Kingdom prior to 4:00 PM, you must have a separate park ticket in addition to a theme park reservation.  It sounds like you have the perfect day planned out!
