Hey Roger, welcome back to planDisney!
We’re so thankful you have returned to us to let us help answer your questions! I can see you’ve been visiting Walt Disney World for many years, and I’m happy you consider planDisney a trusted resource on Disney vacations.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs from 7:00 PM until midnight, but your party ticket grants you entry into Magic Kingdom as early as 4:00 PM. The hours for Minnie Van Services can vary based on special events scheduled throughout the year, like
Disney After Hours events, holiday parties, and
runDisney race weekends. I reached out to a Cast Member with
Minnie Van Services to ask about Minnie Van availability on Halloween party nights. The Cast Member told me that Minnie Vans would be operating at the time the Halloween party ends. He recommended checking the Minnie Van availability about 30 minutes before you’d like to leave the park, as it can be a popular time for people to order Minnie Vans. Also, when you order your Minnie Van, think about how long it will take you to get to the pickup location from where you are in the park. In my experience, I order Minnie Vans when I’m on Main Street, U.S.A., because other Guests may be leaving the party, so it might take a little longer to get to the exit. I checked out the Lyft app and found that you are unable to schedule a future pickup for the Minnie Van option at this time.
The great thing about Minnie Vans is that they can access places that other ride-share options can’t. The Minnie Vans have their own location at the bus stop for Magic Kingdom. That means you don’t have to walk very far after exiting the theme park. You could set your pickup for the Magic Kingdom parking lot, but since you’re using a Minnie Van, I recommend taking advantage of the special perk! When I’ve used Minnie Vans in the past, the driver always offered to play music themed to our destination. I know you’ll be leaving the Magic Kingdom, but I wonder if they could play Halloween music on your ride home? I would love to keep the party going by listening to “
Boo To You” after a long night of trick or treating through Magic Kingdom.
I hope this helps, Roger. To prepare for the party, check out the
