We are attending the dance competition this weekend. Do we need to stay for the entire show or we simply watch our daughters dance then leave?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Eric! You’re as welcome as can be here at planDisney!

The UDA College Dance Team National Championship is the ultimate stage for collegiate dancers to show their magic—truly a step-ball-change above the rest! Held at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, it’s an event bursting with talent, energy, and incredible performances.

I can imagine how excited you must be to cheer on your daughter. What a proud parent moment! The great news is that you’re free to come and go as you please, so you can focus on her big performance, and then go explore the theme parks or even leave to rest at your hotel. Just be sure to get your spectator tickets ahead of time, as they’re available online only. Once purchased, your tickets will be emailed to you. You can scan them from your mobile device or even link them to your My Disney Experience app for convenience.

If you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you’ll have access to complimentary transportation to the parks, but keep in mind that there’s no Disney transportation directly to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. General parking at the venue is free, or rideshare services work great if that’s easier for you.

I hope your time at the competition is magical and filled with pixie-dusted memories. Wishing your daughter all the best as she dances her heart out! Break a leg!

    See ya real soon,
    Eean
