Do they ask for proof of age at Disneyland? My granddaughter will be just 3. What is required to go on the rides?

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there, Abigail!

You’re as welcome as can be here at planDisney!  I’m so excited to help you plan your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your little princess! Taking a 3-year-old to Disneyland is such a delightful adventure, filled with first-time wonders and those special moments that you’ll treasure forever. It’s like stepping into a storybook! o, let's dive in and make sure you and your granddaughter have the most magical experience ever!

Abigail, at Disneyland, they don’t typically ask for proof of age for rides. Instead, the focus is on height requirements for safety reasons. Since your granddaughter will just be 3, you’ll see that there are plenty of attractions designed with little ones in mind. You’ll find so many charming rides that don’t have any height restrictions, allowing her to join in on the fun!

As a mom to a 3-year-old little prince myself, I totally understand how every toddler is different when it comes to trying new things. My little guy loves cruising on Autopia, being swung about Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, and spinning through giggles on Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters. But when it comes to Chip 'n' Dale's GADGETcoaster, though he’s not quite tall enough just yet.

I hope this gets you good and excited for your 2025 visit, Abigail. I’m sure you’ll have an unforgettable time this winter. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to me again—I’m always here to help!

A dream is a wish your heart makes!
