Welcome to planDisney, Jessica! We're so glad you're here.
I've been taking my kids to the
Disneyland Resort since they were itty bitty. I also had my kids two years apart and am excited for you to experience the magic of the parks with both of your kids. You've got this!
Jessica, you can find all attractions with no height requirement in the
Disneyland Mobile App! From the app home screen, click the pin drop icon on the bottom toolbar; it's the icon second from the left. That will open the Disneyland Resort map. From the map screen, click "Filter" in the top left and it will give you options to filter by locations, height, age, thrill factor, and more! This is perfect when you are in the parks and want to find the closest ride you can all jump on as a family.
In
Disneyland Park, the Main Street Vehicles, many of the rides in Fantasyland, the Jungle Cruise, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, and "it's a small world" are just some of the options to ride with a baby. You can also catch a ride on the Disneyland Railroad, Astro Orbitor, Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, or the Mark Twain Riverboat. Or, if you and your baby would prefer a quieter attraction, check out the Main Street Cinema and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room - they are great places to sit and relax. Even though my kids are older now, we usually stop in one or both of these places every visit!
At
Disney California Adventure Park, enjoy The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure, Jessie's Critter Carousel, and Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sully to the Rescue! Pixar Pier also has several rides that allow you to hold your little one. And don't forget to sling webs with Spider-Man on WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure in
Avengers Campus! However, my favorite place to rest and recharge in this park is Hollywood Land; both the Disney Animation Building and Mickey's PhilharMagic are great indoor areas with air conditioning! Turtle Talk with Crush, inside the Animation Building, is a crowd favorite and one that all my kids love. Check it out and maybe he'll chat with your little surfer. (Tip: Sitting in the front of a lily pad can help Crush see your kiddo more!)
Jessica, if you forget any bare necessities, be sure to visit a
Baby Care Center in either park. In Disneyland, it's at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. by the Little Red Wagon, and in Disney California Adventure, it is behind Fillmore's Taste-In in Cars Land. They have high chairs, a nursing area, and changing tables. They also usually sell select baby essentials, like diapers, sunscreen, and baby food. It's definitely a huge help in a pinch!
I hope you and your family enjoy a frightening amount of fun during your
Halloween Time visit. If you have any other questions,
please ask me. I'd be happy to help!
See you in the parks,
Melissa
