Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Kate!
You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. Since you are getting ready for your exciting day full of magic tomorrow, I'll "Bibbid-Bobbidi-Boo" your answer right away.
The
Walt Disney World Monorail typically starts running 30 minutes before the earliest park opening and continues operating until one hour after the latest park closing. The Resort Monorail and Express Monorail begin running 30 minutes prior to Magic Kingdom's opening and continue until one hour after Magic Kingdom closes.
It looks like Magic Kingdom
opens tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. for General Admission, which means that as a Disney Resort Guest, you can enter beginning at 8:00 a.m. You should be able to catch the Monorail in front of The Grand Floridian as early as 7:30 a.m. But, a few of my fellow panelists have said sometimes it begins a bit earlier, so you can plan to be at the platform as early as 7:15 a.m., just in case you are pixie-dusted with an earlier Monorail.
If you have questions about opening times for the parks or any transportation operating hours, be sure to ask the
"Hey Disney" device in your room. This handy little tool is like magic at your fingertips - literally - and makes all of your wishes come true. Whether you want to know the operating hours, need to request towels or supplies for your room, want to play some Disney trivia or even want to be awoken by your favorite Mouse, it's all available with this handy tool. Just say, "Hey Disney, show me what you can do."
I hope this helps you, Kate! If you have any further questions, soar back here to see us and we'll be so happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
