    In which direction does the monorail move between Polynesian and contemporary

    Hi there, Paul! Thanks for visiting planDisney with your timely transportation question. There's nothing I love more than hopping the Walt Disney World Monorail System to get where I want to go at Walt Disney World Resort--it's the coolest way to travel!  It looks like you are at The Most Magical Place on Earth RIGHT NOW, so we don't have a moment to lose. ¡Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas!

    Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows is our family's Disney Vacation Club Home Resort, and one of the best parts of staying at the Poly is the ability to access the monorail from a station at the Great Ceremonial House! Paul, there are three Monorail lines to choose from.

    • The Resort Monorail - this is the one you're interested in - runs clockwise around Seven Seas Lagoon and makes stops at the Polynesian, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and the Transportation and Ticket Center (the TTC). 
    • The Express Monorail travels counter-clockwise with direct service between the TTC and the Magic Kingdom. 
    • The EPCOT Monorail originates at the TTC and ferries Guests directly to the main entrance of EPCOT.
