If I arrive on the 13th of August around midnight only for sleep, visiting Magic Kingdom on the 14th and I'll leave the park on the 15th after visiting all day Animal Kingdom is it correct 3 day tickets with one park per day and 2 nights?

    Hello Matteo!

Welcome to planDisney! Oh boy, you've got an action-packed itinerary to maximize your Disney World vacation. I like your style, and selection of Disney Parks... Animal Kingdom is a true gem! A visit to Animal Kingdom always ends up being one of my family's favorite Disney vacation days because we get to see live animals; enjoy the shaded, lush, beautiful grounds; and ride the thrilling Expedition Everest! Not to mention the fact that here you'll find some of the tastiest food in all of the Disney Parks. Yay, you!

Let's talk about what you need to include in your Disney World travel package, for the itinerary you describe. The short answer is, I believe ideally you'd want a 3 night, 2 day park ticket package.

The Walt Disney World resort property is quite large, and features free Disney transportation for guests staying at a Disney resort in order to get between the resorts, water parks, Disney Springs, and the 4 Disney theme parks. There are many areas to enjoy that do not require a theme park ticket for admission, such as reserving a wonderful dining experience at a place like Boma... located at the gorgeous Animal Kingdom Lodge.

The only time you need a park ticket is when entering a Disney park - in your case, for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. So with the plan you describe, you would need 2 day tickets with one park per day (for Thursday, 8/14 and Friday, 8/15).

If you plan to stay at a Disney resort checking in on August 13, and checking out on August 15, that would be considered a 2 night stay. If this is the case, you can check out of your room and leave your luggage with Bell Services while you are at Animal Kingdom. Or if you wish to stay at your resort that final evening and depart your hotel on August 16, that would be a 3 night stay.

I hope this helps answer your question. Disney World is a big, magical place... you are going to have a wonderful time, Matteo! Please reach out to me again at planDisney if I can help with any additional tips or recommendations.

    The Magic is calling,
    Tami
