Hey there, Adam!
I’m so happy to welcome you back to planDisney! It’s always so nice to reconnect with Guests, and we truly appreciate you continuing to trust us to help with your Disney vacation planning. With your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth just one week away, I bet the excitement is really starting to build! All that planning and dreaming is about to turn into real Disney magic, and that’s such a fun feeling. I’m so excited for you!
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a wonderful accommodation, and I’m so glad your son will be able to use it during your visit. Typically, DAS allows the registered Guest, in this case, your son, to experience an attraction with up to three additional people at a time, for a total party of four Guests.
It’s great that everyone in your travel party is linked to your account, as that makes planning much easier. However, even with everyone linked, DAS selections are usually limited to four Guests per return time. This may mean that if more members of your group would like to experience the same attraction, your son would need to make two separate DAS return times and ride with different groups each time.
Because accommodations can vary depending on what was approved during registration, I recommend confirming the details directly with a Cast Member. You can reconnect with a Cast Member through the live video chat option to clarify exactly what your son’s DAS party size allows. Another option is to speak with the
Guest Experience Team inside the theme parks…just look for the Cast Members stationed under the blue umbrellas. Either of these options will help ensure you receive the most accurate information for your specific situation.
Did you know the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival will be in full bloom during your visit? It’s such a beautiful time to explore EPCOT, with colorful topiaries, fresh flavors, and lots of fun seasonal activities throughout the park.
One of my family’s favorite things to do during the festival is the scavenger hunts around World Showcase. There are currently two to enjoy:
Spike’s Pollen-Nation Exploration and the Eggstravaganza Scavenger Hunt (limited-time experience). Both are great ways to explore the pavilions while keeping everyone engaged along the way. You can purchase the scavenger hunt maps at select merchandise locations throughout EPCOT, then set off to see what you can find!
Adam, I hope this helps, and you have the very best trip! Thanks for visiting us at planDisney!
See ya real soon,
Kami
