Hey there, Karen!
As a fellow New Englander from your neighboring state of Rhode Island, I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney! After the frigid temperatures and snowy days we’ve been dealing with this winter, it finally looks like warmer weather might be on the way…which is definitely something to celebrate. That makes it the perfect time to start looking ahead to your
spring visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Spring is such a Bibbidi Bobbidi BEAUTIFUL time to be at Walt Disney World, with plenty of magic around every corner. You must be getting so excited!
It sounds like you booked a
Walt Disney World Vacation Package, which is a fantastic choice, and those complimentary miniature golf tickets are such a fun perk! These tickets can be used at either of Disney’s mini golf courses:
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf or
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf.
Getting to the courses can feel a little tricky at first, but it’s definitely manageable once you know the best routes. Fantasia Gardens, located near the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel in the EPCOT Resort Area, is often easiest to reach from a theme park. You can take a bus from one of the parks directly to the Swan and walk over to the mini golf course from there. If you’re staying at one of the nearby EPCOT-area resorts, like Disney's Beach Club, Disney's Yacht Club, or Disney's BoardWalk, you can simply walk there. If you’re staying along the
Disney Skyliner route, you also have a convenient option: ride the Skyliner to the EPCOT International Gateway and take a short walk over to the Swan.
For Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, the easiest approach is to head to
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park, since the course is located right next door. Depending on where you’re staying, that usually means taking a bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom and then transferring to a bus for Blizzard Beach. From there, it’s just a quick walk to the mini golf course.
If you’d prefer a more direct route, you could also book a
Minnie Van through the Lyft app or use another rideshare service to take you straight to the course for a fun round of putt-putt.
Remember, as a Disney Resort Guest, you’ll enjoy some pretty
great perks during your stay. These include
Early Theme Park Entry, which allows you to get a head start on the fun each morning, as well as the added advantage of purchasing your
Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days before your check-in date.
Karen, I hope this helps as you continue planning your trip! If any other questions pop up along the way, you’re always welcome to stop back by and visit us again at planDisney.
Magic Awaits,
Kami
