Love is in the air, Hector, and I'm thrilled you stopped by planDisney today! You'll be at Walt Disney World Resort soon with your honey, and I'm squealing with joy about your intended plans to propose. Let's get down on one knee and talk about specifics for making all your dreams come true.

Disney Springs is one of my favorite spots to feel some pixie dust outside the theme parks, and its fun vibe will create the perfect locale to pop THE question. My first tip is to review the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules to make sure your props and plans are within safety guidelines.

As far as setting up a small scene for your big moment, be sure to find an out-of-the-way, intimate spot. Foot traffic at Disney Springs can be heavy at times, but I'm sure you can find a cozy, romantic area. And unattended items are often a security risk, so be sure someone in your party is always present.

Once you've chosen your spot, my next suggestion is to find a nearby Cast Member and let them know your plans. They will share what's allowed and might even offer their advice on an ideal location.

Restaurants are often a good choice for milestone moments. You could even stop by in advance to see if the staff has any ideas or is willing to help with the surprise. Frontera Cocina has a lovely outdoor patio on the water, and you can toast your future immediately after. And I bet the other diners will rejoice with you. Oh, how I wish I could be there!

I have another idea to celebrate afterward, and it might even be the perfect spot for the actual proposal. My friends and I recently sailed above Disney Springs in the Aerophile balloon. You could sneakily let the Cast Members know your scheme when you purchase the tickets. What I love about this idea is that every time you see that big blue balloon, you'll remember your special day.

Finally, feel free to call the Non-Reservation Support line to chat with a love-struck Cast Member about your ideas and props. They can share suggestions to make your magical moment one for the record books.

Hector, I'm waving my Fairy Godmother wand over you and your significant other! I hope you have decades and decades of happiness and wedded bliss. Stop by planDisney anytime; I'll be ringing the wedding bells!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
