We are annual pass holders are are confused by the announced transportation restrictions. There are days we enjoy the walking paths at the many resorts. Will we no longer be able to bus or boat travel to the resorts?

    Hey there, Louise!

Welcome to planDisney! This is such a great question. Exploring the beautiful and unique Disney Resort hotels is a favorite pastime of mine, too. Each spot has so much to offer, including delicious dining and great shops. Let's go over the recent changes to requirements for using Disney Transportation, so you can get back to planning your next park day.

Recently, Disney Springs updated their transportation policy. Guests boarding a bus or the Sassagoula Boats will need to have a Disney Resort hotel or dining reservation to utilize these services. Unfortunately, without a reservation, you will not be able to board the Disney Springs buses or boats. At this time, no other changes have been made. When in doubt, you can always check with a friendly Cast Member when you arrive at your favorite theme park or water park to inquire about any additional changes that may be in place for that location.

Louise, if there is a specific resort you would like to explore, I recommend making an afternoon of it! Disney Resort hotels offer great dining options, and a reservation will give you access to the resort and complimentary parking during your meal. You'll be able to grab a bite and have a little time to spare for exploring. Plus, Annual Passholders can take advantage of some great dining discounts

I hope this information helps you continue having magical adventures!
