I can tell you've done your Disney homework because this is a really solid strategy! Starting your day at Animal Kingdom is a great way to experience popular attractions like
Avatar Flight of Passage and
Kilimanjaro Safaris with shorter wait times. Then, making your way to Hollywood Studios with your
Lightning Lane selections already lined up is an excellent way to maximize your day.
The good news is that this plan will work just fine, and it's one I would absolutely consider. Just remember that once you've tapped into your first Lightning Lane experience, you'll be eligible to book another Lightning Lane selection, subject to availability. You'll be able to continue doing this throughout the day each time you redeem a Lightning Lane, which is such a fantastic way to fit even more attractions into your schedule.
One other thing to keep in mind is when you'll be eligible to purchase your Lightning Lane passes. Guests staying at a
Disney Resort can make their Lightning Lane selections beginning 7 days before their check-in. If you're not staying on property, you'll be able to purchase Lightning Lane passes 3 days before your park visit.
No matter which booking window applies to you, I highly recommend being logged into the
My Disney Experience app and ready to go right at 7:00 AM Eastern Time on your purchase day. Popular attractions can book up quickly, so being prepared can help you secure those must-do experiences and set yourself up for a fantastic park day!
