Howdy, Susan! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question today! I'm always happy to round up an answer for any guest visiting the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue - it's my absolute favorite dining experience in all of Walt Disney World! Nestled inside of Pioneer Hall at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you're in for a rootin'-tootin' grand old time with the Pioneer Players as you'll sing, dance, laugh, and maybe even become a part of the show!
Susan, getting to the Hoop-Dee-Doo from
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is quick and easy if you hop aboard a Disney bus to Fort Wilderness Campground! The ride from the theme park will take about 25 minutes, and once you arrive, you will need to transfer to an internal shuttle bus to be brought to the Settlement area where the Hoop-Dee-Doo is located. Guests are encouraged to arrive at Pioneer Hall at least 30 minutes before seating begins to check in and receive their table assignments, so given this, I would recommend leaving Animal Kingdom at least an hour to an hour and a half before showtime! As an alternative, you can also request a
Minnie Van using the Lyft rideshare app, which can drop you off directly at the Settlement for a faster arrival to the show! I actually used the Minnie Van Service to get to the Hoop-Dee-Doo from EPCOT a few months ago and it was nice being dropped off so close to the restaurant!
Depending on your plans after the show, there are sometimes resort buses waiting to bring guests directly back to their Disney Resort hotels, or you can catch a bus or water taxi over to Magic Kingdom Park and hop aboard your resort bus there. Depending on which showtime you have reserved, catching
Happily Ever After from the boat dock at Fort Wilderness is one of my favorite unexpected magical moments, and taking time to visit with the horses that call
Tri-Circle-D Ranch home is always a favorite for my family! You might even be able to mosey on over to
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long if the timing is right!
Susan, I hope this helps you to plan for a magical night! Be sure to save room for dessert at the Hoop-Dee-Doo, and I always recommend toasting to the magic with a glass of the red sangria if you're 21 or older!
Cheers,
Alison
