Hey there, Stephanie. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
Stephanie, my family and I also love
'Ohana. It's one of the restaurants that we've gone to for years and years. We've made a lot of fun family memories there. I'm sorry I don't have better news for you but currently, 'Ohana is still closed and I don't have any official word on its return. If it's chicken wings and pot stickers that you crave, however, you are in luck! Right next door at
Kona Cafe, they have picked up a few
menu items from 'Ohana. I've ordered the chicken wings and pot stickers from the Kona Cafe appetizer menu several times via the
mobile ordering section of the
MyDisneyExperience app and have enjoyed eating them with a fun cocktail at
Tambu Lounge. While it's not quite the same, it will do for now. Both are delicious choices but I should mention that while, in my opinion, the chicken wings are spot on to 'Ohana, the pot stickers are a bit different. With all that said, I really do enjoy both and will keep ordering them until our beloved 'Ohana returns.
While I know it is not the same, there are a lot of other great restaurants at Walt Disney World currently accepting reservations. My favorite place to have dinner right now is at Disney Springs. There, you'll find a wide variety of dining options open whether you want to make a reservation or go more casual and do a quick-service dining option.
The BOATHOUSE has actually become my very favorite restaurant to dine at now on vacation at Walt Disney World. Their truffle fries are out of this world delicious. For a quick service option, I've been going to
Pizza Ponte lately. This pizza joint is located next to Maria & Enzo's in The Landing area of Disney Springs. Pizza flavors rotate constantly and are cut into big, thick square slices. It's so affordable too. A slice of pizza, that is more than enough, and a can of soda will run you less than ten bucks. You can't beat that. I've been using this time when some of my favorites are still closed, to branch out and try new restaurants and it's been fun. A restaurant that I haven't tried yet but it's on my list is
Il Mulino at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. My good friend and fellow planDisney panelist,
Amy M., just took her daughter there for a special celebration and said it was fantastic. Take a look at the
dinner menu. It does sound amazing, doesn't it? It quickly jumped up to the top of my list after her review.
I hope this helps give you some ideas on other restaurants to try while you're at Walt Disney World this spring. Of course, things could change between now and then so keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog or come back here and check with us before your trip. Happy planning!
