Hi there, Jessica! Welcome back to planDisney. With tickets purchased, we’re well underway in the planning process of a Disney vacation!
Lightning Lanes are the perfect addition to maximize your time in the parks if you’re focused on shorter wait times and more attractions throughout the day. I’d love to walk you through how to add them to your tickets so you’re ready to zoom through your park day!
When you open the
Disneyland app, tap the (≡) button on the bottom bar. After that, tap “Lightning Lane Passes.” From there, you’ll be able to purchase a selection of three different types of Lightning Lane Passes:
Lightning Lane Multi Pass,
Lightning Lane Single Pass, and
Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
With my family, now that my toddler is tall enough to ride bigger attractions like Space Mountain and my personal favorite, Big Thunder Mountain, we’ve recently stepped into the world of Lightning Lane. I don’t know how we could go back to waiting in standby lines, and I know my husband feels the same way too! Using the Multi Pass is such a great way to cut down wait times, especially with a toddler who’s still learning the concept of waiting, and get right to riding those beloved attractions my husband and I have grown to love over the years. I know for a fact that when he’s tall enough for Rise of the Resistance or finally works up the courage to ride Radiator Springs Racers, we’ll definitely purchase Single Passes for those rides!
Jessica, thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. I hope this helps you add Lightning Lane Passes for your upcoming trip so you’re racing through those attractions. If you have any questions until then, planDisney is always here to help!
With a Sprinkle of Pixie Dust,
Bev
