Aloha!! We are excited to be going on the cruise from Honolulu to Sydney leaving on October 3rd. Is there a way to know if there will be a Pirate Night, Formal Night, Semi-Formal Night, etc..? Trying to plan our packing list!

    Anchors aweigh, Lindsey!

Welcome to planDisney! Let me be the first to say, you are in for a cruise of a lifetime! You must be so excited to sail aboard Disney Wonder and help her sail to Australia! I can imagine you are planning your packing list already, so let me see if I can help.

During your 15-Nights at sea, you can expect the following suggested, but optional, attire:(remember, this schedule is subject to change):

    • Thursday - Honolulu - Casual
    • Friday - Kaului - Formal
    • Saturday - At Sea - Casual
    • Sunday - At Sea - Casual
    • Monday - At Sea - Casual
    • Tuesday - At Sea - Casual
    • Wednesday - At Sea - Casual
    • Thursday - Pago Pago - Casual
    • Friday - At Sea - International Date Line crossing
    • Saturday - At Sea - Casual
    • Sunday - Suva - Semi-Formal
    • Monday - At Sea - Casual
    • Tuesday - Noumea - Casual
    • Wednesday - At Sea - Optional Dress-Up
    • Thursday - At Sea - Casual
    • Friday - Sydney - Disembark
WOW! This is such an incredible itinerary with lots of fabulous casual evenings, including one that "doesn't exist" because you will cross the International Date Line on Day 9 of your voyage! While the proposed schedule for attire has been established, the deck party themes have not yet been announced, but I know that the Disney Cruise Line crew is hard at work preparing some amazing evenings for you. I checked with a shoreside Cast Member who indicated that you could plan on taking your Pirate Night gear, but those were her only suggestions for the moment. You can check back with us for more details as your cruise approaches for your last-minute packing.

There are self-serve laundry facilities onboard or you can use the full-service laundry and dry-cleaning services (both at an additional fee). I recommend making use of these options so you can lighten your load. You will find a laundry bag in your stateroom that you can leave for your Stateroom Host if you choose to use the full-service option. Just remember, if you want to take that cute bag home with you, a fee (currently $10 US, but subject to change), will be charged to your stateroom folio.

I hope this helps with your packing list, Lindsey. Sail by again if you have more questions!

    Wishing you many magical moments,
    Shannon
