Are we allowed to park for free at the Grand Floridian to eat breakfast there and then head to the park?

    Hi Leticia!

    Welcome to planDisney!

While you’re more than welcome to park at the Grand Floridian if you have a dining reservation, unfortunately, you will not be able to leave your car there while visiting the parks.

Instead, once you're finished with your meal, I recommend driving to whichever theme park you’d like to visit and parking your car there. If that theme park happens to be Magic Kingdom, you’ll need to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. From there, you’ll go through security, then hop onto the Monorail or Ferry to get to the park.

If that’s the case, I’d probably park at the Transportation and Ticket Center right off the bat, then get on the Resort Monorail line. The Grand Floridian will be just two stops away! And if you want to get a glimpse of another resort decorated for the holidays, you can stop at the Polynesian to look around before continuing to the Grand Floridian.

After your breakfast, you can hop back on the Monorail to complete the trip to Magic Kingdom or take the walking path to get there.

It’s good to note that due to the current construction at the Grand Floridian, the gingerbread house will not be displayed this holiday season. But I know there will be plenty of other festive decor around the park and resorts to enjoy!

Have the best vacation! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan, let us know!
